Addresses in Brazil are written in the Latin alphabet: copy the street line exactly as the recipient gave it.
Local conventions worth getting right in Brazil
The bairro, the neighbourhood, belongs on its own line and is a real routing unit rather than decoration: it is what separates two similarly named streets in different parts of the same city. The two letter state code follows the city, and the CEP takes the form 01310-100 on the final line. Correios asks senders not to write the letters CEP beside the digits, because it confuses the sorting equipment.
If nobody is home when the parcel reaches Brazil
Correios publishes a separate holding period for international items and it is far longer than the domestic one: thirty calendar days, counted from the date the item becomes available for collection rather than from the delivery attempt. Aggregator sites widely quote seven business days for Brazil, which is the domestic agency figure and wrong for a parcel arriving from abroad. Customs clearance runs on its own clock before any of this begins, so a Brazilian buyer waiting weeks is usually waiting on customs, not on the post.
Worked example: a parcel arriving in São Paulo

The last line is the destination country in English capitals, so the exporting post office can sort the item without reading the local script.
Brazil uses postal codes. A valid one looks like 01310-100, the code for São Paulo.
The national postal operator is Correios.
A state or province is part of a Brazil address; a parcel without one can be delayed or returned. The example above shows where it belongs.

Brazil is outside the EU customs union, so every inbound parcel needs a customs declaration: a CN22 on the label itself below roughly 300 SDR, a CN23 on a separate sheet above it.

Is this an official postal label for Brazil?
No, and no website can produce one. A carrier label carries a tracking number only Correios or a courier can issue against your account. This is an address and handling label: print it, tape it to the box, and add the carrier’s tracking label beside it at drop-off.
Does a parcel sent to Brazil need a customs form?
Only if the parcel starts in a different country. Domestic shipments inside Brazil need no customs paperwork. For inbound international parcels, a CN22 is required below roughly 300 SDR and is added to the label automatically; heavier or more valuable consignments need a CN23 on a separate sheet.
