Addresses in Austria are written in the Latin alphabet: copy the street line exactly as the recipient gave it.
Local conventions worth getting right in Austria
The house number follows the street name, and a staircase and door are appended with forward slashes rather than words, so Hauptstraße 6/3/2 means house 6, staircase 3, door 2. That slash notation is the main thing separating an Austrian address from an otherwise identical looking Belgian or German one. The four digit postal code precedes the town, with no punctuation between them.
If nobody is home when the parcel reaches Austria
Austrian Post keeps an uncollected parcel for at least fourteen calendar days at the post office, Poststation or Postempfangsbox, and the collection period runs from the day after the card is left. Commercial senders can shorten that to five working days, so the last date is the one printed on the card rather than a figure you can assume. A parcel sitting in a Poststation can be collected at any hour, which suits a buyer who works when the counters are closed.
Worked example: a parcel arriving in Wien

The last line is the destination country in English capitals, so the exporting post office can sort the item without reading the local script.
Austria uses postal codes. A valid one looks like 1010, the code for Wien.
The national postal operator is Österreichische Post.
No state or province is used in a Austria address. The city line and postal code are enough.

Customs status
Austria is in the EU customs union. A parcel from another member state is in free circulation: no CN22, no declaration, no duty. The generator prints the customs block only on other routes.
Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and the United Kingdom are not in the union, despite the geography.
